The Thunder Tiger Tainer 40 has become our most popular almost-ready-to-fly aircraft. The flat bottomed wing section provides the vital stability needed when learning to fly, and a postive response to control inputs makes this aircraft a joy to fly. Traditional construction of balsa and ply framework with a hard-wearing, eye-catching heat shrink covering.

The major components of the Trainer 40 are pre-built and covered. A very comprehensive accessories bag, contains the fuel tank, spinner, engine mount, wheels, cowling and all the hardware necessary to complete the model in the fastest possible time.

A radio set with a minimum of 4 channels, to control throttle, ailerons, rudder & elevator is required. The Futaba 6EXA is ideal, or for the more budget conscious the Hi-Tec Laser 4 . 

Thunder Tigers own GP 42 Engine is the perfect engine for this trainer, giving the reliability and ease of use needed when learning to fly. .
