Whatever level you're operating at we recommend the fitting of both a good air filter, and fuel filter to minimise the risk of particles of dust and grit entering the fuel system. Radio Controlled Car air filters tend to be foam filled, and require dampening with air filter oil regularly, whereas Radio Controlled Aircraft air filters are usually just a mesh guard. It's also important to use a dedicated fuel filler bottle or fuel pump, so that the fuel can't mix with any contaminants.

Ripmax Silicone Tube is tough, extra flexible and heat resistant. The larger sizes are ideal for joining tuned pipes to manifolds, extending exhausts through cowls and for marine silencing systems. On complicated models such as ducted fan powered jets or twins, colour code your installation by using our red tubing for exhaust pressure lines and blue for fuel lines to make identification simple. Or just use the coloured tube for the fun of it. This material has great resistance to kinking and it will not harden with age.
