Aero engines require some specialist starting equipment, and we can offer the very best and latest items from the major manufacturers. The Thunder Tiger CarryMaster is a great all-in-one solution, but we can also supply all the items needed for starting as seperates, so they can be upgraded or replaced along the way.

Most fuel powered radio controlled aircraft are powered by glow fuel, which is ignited in the engine by a glow plug. Glow plugs usually require a 1.5-2volt supply to light them, and so some modellers use a rechargeable glo start to power them, but in most cases aero modellers invest in a power panel, which will give glow, pump, and starter motor supply in one neat solution. A glow plug spanner is essensial for fast removal of plugs when the need comes to replace them.
